About Mahavidyalaya

Karmavir Mahvidyalaya Mul was established in July 1970 in the memory of Late Shri M.S. Kannamwar, ex-chief Minister (MS) and the founder President of the Institution Late V.T. Nagapure. Initially the college started with the capacity of 151 students. The college was opened with two branches Arts and Commerce.

The college was started to spread education among the rural area students for their overall development in all facets of life. Further in 2009 the college has started a science faculty too. At present, three faculties constitute 1400 students in our college. The college has hostel facilities for the learners and possesses 18000 books in the Library on various topics. Our students are participating in 3 Mah BN (Boys) and 22 Mah BN (girls) along with NSS activities to promote themselves in social functional activities.

Our NSS unit had undertaken public utility work during the year 1991 to 1994 which enabled our college to receive the Prestigious Indira Gandhi National NSS award (1994-1995). Not only this, our college has also received the Vanshri Award for plantation and soil conservation works. The 18 acres of spacious land is used for a playground to maintain the health of students. In addition to this, gymnasium and sports facilities are also available. We have science laboratories for the students. Besides this, the president of our institution Adv. Babasaheb Wasade along with the management members is carrying on further development under his leadership.
